Foto Gallery

Here are some screenshots of Foto Gallery (still in early development).

Do y’all like the skin? Do y’all want to see something different? I know right now it doesn’t look like there arn’t very many features. We’re working on that. We’re still finalizing the basics. This was a harder than usual project ’cause it delt with a lot of runtime issues.

Do y’all like the skin or should we change it? If we change it what would you want it to look like? A light skin, more dark, etc…

Comment to tell me.

Everyday 2010

12Feb09

So here’s the scoop. We have not begun development on ED2010, but we have made a lot of decisions on what ED2010 will be like.

We’re also going to release a new app with it: Foto Booth.

Foto Booth is an image gallery. With it you can organize photos using albums, share photos quickly, and more. Foto booth also comes with full drag ‘n’ drop support! Drag any photo from the desktop onto Foto Booth and it’s automaticly added to the currently open album. Drag photos to&from albums.

More coming soon, including some screenshots.

anywhereSo we’ve been working on this stuff forever now and we’re almost ready to release a franchise of applications powered by it. Meet ‘anywhere’.

Anywhere lets you launch and run one of our applications from the internet. So how would someone use this??? You need to use Snippy on a friends computer, but he doesn’t want to install it. So you simply launch the Anywhere version of Snippy. It leaves no trace of itself on your computer after you close it.

Nifty, huh?

We’ll be ready to release it in about a week.

We put together this quick, 30 second video to help you better understand what Snippy does. It captures anything you want it to on your computer, and let’s you share it with others easily. You can save it to a file, email it, or even upload it to the internet and get a link that you can share with friends. You can even manage previous captures, and re-share them.

We’re wrapping up the development of Snippy RC1, so expect an official release within the next month.

ScreenClick was great.  150 downloads from codepackage and 200 from Download.com on within 7 days of it’s release.

But I’ve always hated one thing about it myself; it’s interface is a bit too complicated. And I’d like to be able to share images I snap right after snapping them.

snippyThat’s where Snippy comes in.

Snippy hides as an icon near your clock. double click the icon and your screen becomes brighter. Drag your mouse to create a rectangle around whatever you want as an image. Lift your finger off the mouse and a window will pop up and show you the image you just snapped.

The image has already been copied to your clipboard, but you can still upload via FTP, email it as an attachment, or save it as a file. that’s it. the process takes about 30 seconds. no need to setup folders, destinations, etc.

We’re working hard to get Snippy ready for Everyday ‘09 SP1, which will be released summer of 2009. It will replace ScreenClick in the ED09 program, but you will still be able to download ScreenClick separatly from our website.

Simply Word beta 0.1 RELEASED! Beta testers can download it now from this page. Remember, it’s a beta, so expect some glitchidness. if you download, please provide feedback and bug reports!

Thanks, and enjoy your first look at Simply Word!

We’ve been working on this for a couple weeks now, and we’re getting very close to releasing it. It’s a word processor, unique from other processors because it focuses on the document, not on the millions of styling toolbars.

So there are only two toolbars; the menu and the editor toolbar. Also to make things easier, we’ve added The Style Manager. Using the Style Manager, you can customize certian styles (ie header, subheader, paragraph, etc) and then apply those styles by clicking a button or using a hotkey.

Since Simply Word is new, and may have bugs, we’ve added the error console. This is a little window that records every error you have instead of displaying a pop-up window or crashing Simply Word. Cool, huh?

Simply Word does come with templates, spellcheck, emoticons, different views (web view, print view, etc), and standard formatting options (indent paragraph, hanging indent, etc).

So. Before we release a beta, we need to add a few things.

  1. A ruler
  2. finish spellcheck
  3. columns

Expect a beta in February. Below are some screenshots.

Hey guys,

We just released Mini Net today. But what is it anyways?

Mini Net is a small application that hides as an icon beside your computer’s clock. When you double click that icon, Mini Net opens a small window, with the internet in all its glory. Webpages have been zoomed out to 75%, that way we can fit more of a big page into a small browser. You can still read the page contents though. Anyways you can work it just like a real browser. Go back, go forward, refresh, etc. Webpages render like they normally would.

This is not meant to replace your current browser! Mini Net is here so you can look something up on google quickly, check the news, etc.

Watch a video to see how it works

Nifty huh?

Download at our website software page. Enjoy!
